US gunsmith supply: The upper receiver, chamber and buffer tube rod is designed to be used to clean the upper receiver, bolt channel, the chamber and the lower receivers buffer tube of the ar-15 platform firearm, when used in conjunction with the upper receiver and buffer tube jag, patches and ar-15 chamber brush. The 16" shaft provides adequate clearance to clean the buffer tube on an a2 and keep the hand out of the way of the lower receiver. Threaded for both the 5/16 x 27 tpi and the 8 x 32 tpi, standard firearms industry cleaning threads. The solid aluminum shaft is fitted to the handle and does not turn allowing the rod to be used to rotate the chamber brush for fast cleani mfg: tcs.
