US gunsmith supply: Rigid, steel trigger guard with hinged floor plate for short action remington 700 is machined from a single billet of pre-hardened steel to meet strict military tolerances for smoothness, reliability and toughness. Wide, oversize trigger guard bow protects the trigger show and provides added clearance for tactical gloves. Ultra-smooth floorplate hinge provides rapid unloading in the field; recessed latch prevents accidental opening. Extra thick, front and rear tangs offer improved stabilization of the receiver and allow a recessed fit of the included socket head action screws. Sides of trigger guard are machined with a 5o draft angle for easier fitting and repeatab mfg: d. D. Ross 4150 steel, matte black phosphate finish. Hardened to rc 28-32. 7.6 oz.
